The Problem
Many men’s fragrance brands rely on familiar codes of luxury—dark bottles, polished photography, serif typography, and conventional ideas of masculinity. Ashwood needed a more distinctive visual language that could communicate strength and sophistication without feeling predictable or overly traditional.
The Solution
The brand identity was developed around the contrast between frontier ruggedness and futuristic refinement. Burnt textures, stark landscapes, cinematic photography, smoked glass packaging, and unexpected cyan and ember tones create a recognizable visual world for Ashwood. The system extends across fragrance packaging, campaign imagery, print, digital applications, and branded collateral while maintaining a consistent sense of mystery and intensity.
